Alisa Becklund Sturdevant, in her hometown for a two-week visit from Iowa, trekked up to Sequim with her sister Terry for lunch with Linda Carlson. She's retired from Barnes & Noble and busy with riding and home improvements.
Separately, we learned of the death of Carol Scafturon's mother Connie, long-time parish worker at Trinity Lutheran. Carol was in Tacoma for several weeks after her mother was diagnosed with cancer, but has now returned to Juneau. She's considering retirement, she reports, but plans to stay in Alaska.
