News from Mike Fagerness

Mike Fagerness and wife Carol have retired and are enjoying time with their first grandchild, a waterfront cabin and some travel. He writes: "We have been retired since 2013 and usually travel to places where there is lots of sunshine. The last place I worked was Fircrest Pre-Fit Door Co. where I did purchasing and inside sales. In 2014 after living 30 years in Gig Harbor we downsized and moved to west Tacoma. My son and daughter also live in Tacoma. Our daughter gave birth to our first grandchild in April 2018. We are so lucky to have our grandson only 5 minutes away. We usually take 2 or 3 long trips in the winter, spend spring in Tacoma and spend the summer at our cabin at Birch Bay. Can you tell, we really like retired life."
