Obituary for History Teacher Jean Mazzei

Jean Williams Mazzei  was born on July 3, 1932 in Portland, Oregon to Kenneth and Josephine Williams, and died on January 9, 2016. She is survived by Sandy Mazzei, her husband of 53 years.
She went to UPS and lived in the gymnasium until the new girls' dormitory was completed. She graduated in 1955 and taught history at Franklin Pierce High School for 25 years.

She particularly liked teaching World Problems, because of her concern about current events, especially in the Middle East.
