Alisa Becklund and Lori Lobeda just happened to be in town at the same time the first week in August, Alisa coming from Iowa and Lori from Florida, and they arranged to lunch with Linda Carlson. Lori wanted to see Phyllis Renfro, and so did Linda, so a lunch was arranged with all four. Meanwhile, Dave Dahlin, in town from Oregon to see his parents, encountered Lori at the Lutheran home where both of their mothers currently are, and she invited him to join us. And, alas, Phyllis was ill, so she sent husband Warren Foster to represent her. Separately, Alisa and her sister Teri (class of 1972), on the far right in the group picture, had dinner with Brian Johnson and reported that he is his usual kind, friendly self. As far as updates, Alisa's still at Barnes & Noble and still riding, Lori's still working in Jupiter FL schools, Linda's still writing and doing marketing, Phyllis has just recently retired from Tacoma libraries, and Warren sounds pretty much retired. As you know if you're on Facebook with them, they spend a lot of time in Sacramento with their darling younger grandbabies. Dave, of course, is long since retired.
